On June 13, 2022, a prize draw started for purchases made in stores and on websites of the project partners [https://sbp.nspk.ru/promo/] and paid via the Faster Payments System (FPS). The promotion will be held until August 14. Any FPS user may take part in it. The Faster Payments System is the service of the Bank of Russia, which enables not only to transfer money by a phone number, but also to pay for daily purchases by a QR code. 2,000 winners will be identified every day, who will earn up to 50% cashback from the receipt total (but RUB 700 maximum). 5 winners will get RUB 200,000 every week. The first prize is RUB 1,000,000. It will be drawn once a month. To pay for a purchase in a store (coffee shop, gas station, etc.) via the FPS, a buyer must scan a QR code using the bank’s mobile application and confirm the payment. A QR code can be found on any medium, e.g., on a sticker at the cash register or displayed on a PC screen, POS terminal, etc. A purchase can be paid via the FPS not only in a mobile bank, but also on SBPay, a special application for payments via the Faster Payments System. Goods or services can be paid in an online store using a payment link or button. A buyer clicks on the Pay SBP button or receives a link from the seller with the same information required for payment as the QR code has. By clicking the link, the customer is directed to the mobile bank, where they must check the purchase amount and the store name, and confirm the payment.
