In the spring 2022, banks with the general license, inter alia systematically important ones, will provide their customers with the option to pay for goods and services via SBPay, including with one smartphone’s touch like contactless card payment services. The solution meets all the state-of-the-art security standards. Security of transactions performed via the application is ensured by the Bank of Russia, NSPK, and banks participating in the FPS. NSPK is going to release application updates, making SBPay more user-friendly both for customers and businesses. «NSPK is working on integrating NFC into SBPay. Russian Standard Bank has already successfully tested the new features. After their integration into the application, one-click payment will become available to the customers of banks compatible with SBPay, ” explains Dmitry Kolesnikov, Innovation Services Development Director at NSPK.
