Russian Agricultural Bank Issued Mir Payment Card with Troika Transport App
The Russian Agricultural Bank - Rosselkhozbank (RSHB) - has started to issue a co-branded contactless bank card with Troika transport application on the basis of Mir Payment System.
The co-branded card can be used both as a bank card for routine purchases of goods and services, and as a transport card to pay for trips in the Moscow city transport and on commuter rail trains.
RSHB offers co-branded Mir payment cards with Troika transport app to individual and corporate customers across Russia. Holders of such cards will get an additional benefit from participation in the RSHB bonus program Urozhai (Harvest) and the Mir Payment System loyalty cashback program. “Rosselkhozbank is out to providing its customers with the most convenient banking products integrated in the urban environment,” says Irina Zhachkina, First Deputy Chairman of the RSHB Board. “A co-branded card with Troika transport app combines a full-featured payment instrument with an urban-transport pass commonly used by Muscovites. A new product will first of all appeal to customers who live in Moscow and in the Moscow region and to those who frequently visit the capital.”
“Today, the extension of the scope of services, most useful for cardholders, is becoming the key element of a good banking product. We are sure that a new Rosselkhozbank contactless card with our transport app will make payments in the city transport more convenient, and cashless payments will become more profitable due to the combination of two loyalty programs - Mir Payment System’s and the bank’s - in the same card,” says Maxim Lazyrin, Business Director, Mir Payment System.
