NSPK and JCB Have Agreed to Cooperate with Regard to Issuing Co-Badged Cards

The National System of Payment Cards (NSPK) and Japan’s largest payment system Japan Credit Bureau (JCB) have agreed to cooperate and issue Mir-JCB co-badged cards.

The National System of Payment Cards (NSPK) and Japan’s largest payment system Japan Credit Bureau (JCB) have agreed to cooperate and issue Mir-JCB co-badged cards.

NSPK partnership with the Japanese payment system will provide Mir-JCB bank cards access to the infrastructure of JCB worldwide, including Asia, where JCB has traditionally been strong and has a wide network of card acceptance. Mir-JCB co-badged card will work in the infrastructure of Mir payment system as a Mir bank card; in the JCB infrastructure, outside Russia, as a JCB card.

Cooperation with NSPK, in its turn, will significantly strengthen JCB position in the Russian market and contribute to the enhancement of its worldwide business.

The issuance of Mir-JCB cards is scheduled for 2016. All the functionality and benefits of the co-badged card programs will be available to holders.
