JSC FPC and NSPK JSC Are Going to Introduce New Services for Participants of RZD Bonus Loyalty Program
JSC Federal Passenger Company (JSC FPC, subsidiary of JSC Russian Railways) and National Payment Card System Joint Stock Company (NSPK, operator of the MIR National Payment System) signed a memorandum on cooperation at the St. Petersburg Economic Forum. Chief Execution Officer of JSC FPC Petr Ivanov and Chief Executive Officer, Chairman of the Board of NSPK JSC Vladimir Komlev affixed their signatures to the document.
The memorandum provides for a possibility to implement joint projects for passengers of long-distance trains and holders of MIR cards. In particular, the parties are considering the possibility of providing the RZD Bonus participants – holders of MIR bank cards with special fares for trains of JSC FPC.
It should be noted that passengers of long-distance trains can use MIR cards to pay for tickets and other services both at ticket offices and online on the RZD official website and in the RZD to Passengers mobile application. In addition, almost every tenth passenger who uses cashless technologies to pay for the Holding's services is the holder of the MIR national payment card.
The RZD Bonus Loyalty Program has become effective since July 2012 and enables to accumulate points for trips made in JSC FPC's trains and carriages, Sapsan and Allegro trains, as well as for transportation of cars in JSC FPC's car carriers. Becoming a member of the RZD Bonus program, a passenger can accumulate points for the trips made and exchange them for bonus (free) tickets. Currently, three million passengers are registered in the program. For more detailed information refer to the program website.
