Credit Bank of Moscow has set about issuing NSPK’s Mir cards for customers who get payments from the Russian Federation budgets of all levels.

As of July 1, 2017 Social Cards with VTB payment application are issued in Moscow on the basis of the Mir platform. The project envisages a phased migration of budget payments to Mir cards. Those who already have Social Cards will not need to change them before 1 July 2020 unless they expire earlier. However by 1 July 2020 all valid Social Cards irrespective of their expiry date will be replaced by Mir cards.

Over 10 Million Mir Cards have been issued in Russia. One fifth of this quantity was received by bank customers in June alone. Thus, NSPK as Mir Operator has already managed to issue through its partner banks half of the planned yearly quantity. And this is before the official mass migration to the national plastic of employees paid from state budgets, that will start on July 1, 2017.
